Asheninka runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.<\/p>\n

Windows<\/h3>\n

Download the installer and run it as administrator (right-click on the file you just downloaded and choose \u201cRun as Administrator\u201d). After successful installation, the Asheninka program will automatically start.<\/p>\n

Mac OS X<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Download the installer.<\/li>\n
  2. Double-click the installer file.<\/li>\n
  3. Drag the Asheninka icon to the Applications folder. Asheninka will now be in your Applications folder.<\/li>\n
  4. Note:<\/strong> if you get a message that Asheninka has not been notarized, open up System Preferences \/ Security\u00a0 Privacy \/ General tab.\u00a0 Asheninka should be listed and you should be able to click “Open Anyway.”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Linux<\/h3>\n

    Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Download the installer.<\/li>\n
    2. Using a Terminal widow, navigate to where you downloaded the installer.<\/li>\n
    3. If you have previously installed Asheninka, remove the old version by typing
      \nsudo dpkg -r asheninka-syllable-parser<\/code>
      \nand press ENTER<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Now invoke the installer by typing
      \nsudo dpkg -i name_of_the_downloaded_deb_file<\/em><\/code>
