But they seem to import as full-page. Is there a way that we can change that?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, there&#8217;s an easy way to get pictures to only use 1\/2 the column width, but the PTXprint-specific terminology, <em>Cutout<\/em>, doesn&#8217;t make it easy to discover.<\/p>\n<p>Follow these steps to change the PicList to get smaller pictures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select all the pictures that you want to change (in bulk). Click, move to end of list and Shift-click will allow you to select multiple pictures.<\/li>\n<li>On the Details tab of the bottom pane, change the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Frame Size: <strong>Column Width<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Vertical Position: <strong>Cutout<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Scale: <strong>50<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3150\" src=\"https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_04_50-PTXprint-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short-RUT.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"770\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_04_50-PTXprint-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short-RUT.png 770w, https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_04_50-PTXprint-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short-RUT-300x179.png 300w, https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_04_50-PTXprint-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short-RUT-768x458.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click on <strong>Print<\/strong>, you should now see smaller pictures in the resulting PDF. <em>But not everything will be in the right place.<\/em> This is because it takes several attempts to position these rather complicated Cutout illustrations. (Turning off Quick Run will ensure it automatically runs multiple times to get the pictures in the right place, but sometimes, the picture just cannot fit in the location specified. For example, in the spread shown below, the picture Anchored to ch.3 vs.14 cannot fit there as most of the text for that verse spills onto the next page. So we need to move this picture UP into the main part of that paragraph.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3152\" src=\"https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_07_51-PDF-Preview-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short_RUT_ptxp.pdf-11-Jun-10_06.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1337\" height=\"951\" srcset=\"https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_07_51-PDF-Preview-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short_RUT_ptxp.pdf-11-Jun-10_06.png 1337w, https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_07_51-PDF-Preview-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short_RUT_ptxp.pdf-11-Jun-10_06-300x213.png 300w, https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_07_51-PDF-Preview-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short_RUT_ptxp.pdf-11-Jun-10_06-1024x728.png 1024w, https:\/\/software.sil.org\/ptxprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/06\/2026-06-11-10_07_51-PDF-Preview-3.0.32-WSGlatin_Short_RUT_ptxp.pdf-11-Jun-10_06-768x546.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1337px) 100vw, 1337px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To move the picture, just change the Anchor Reference (the verse to which the picture is attached) as shown below.
