Unicode has a <em>presentation form<\/em> character (U+FDF2 ARABIC LIGATURE ALLAH ISOLATED FORM) that implements this rendering and, while this can work (in some fonts) for the word in isolation, it doesn\u2019t help users obtain special rendering in other contexts where it is desired.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Starting with v3.300, Scheherazade New provides the special rendering for sequences of Arabic letters that meet specific patterns, giving much more flexibility to document authors.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under certain conditions, a sequence of lam-lam-heh will form an Allah ligature:\n<ul>\n<li>The sequence must include either a preceding isolate <em>alef<\/em> or a <em>shadda<\/em> on the second <em>lam<\/em>, or both.<\/li>\n<li>If there is an isolate <em>alef<\/em> but no <em>shadda<\/em>, a <em>shadda-superscript-alef<\/em> will be automatically displayed.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>shadda<\/em> may be followed or preceded by either a <em>superscript-alef<\/em> diacritic or a <em>fatha<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>heh<\/em> may be either the standard <em>heh<\/em> (0647) or the <em>heh-goal<\/em> (06C1).<\/li>\n<li>The <em>alef<\/em>, if present may have marks.
