Version 1.3.0 of LingTree is now available. It allows you to include abbreviations within a tree node. You can set the font for abbreviations to use a small caps font. When you open a tree description made by an earlier version of LingTree, the abbreviation font is set to the same values as that of the gloss font in that tree description.

The user documentation has been updated and now includes an index.

In addition, this version fixes some bugs:

  • Upon closing LingTree, if it asked if you want to save data, it did not save.
  • The splitter pane between the description and the tree diagram would creep upwards between invocations.
  • You could get a crash message if a tree description had an error and you tried to save the image as an SVG file.
