Version 1.5.4 of LingTree is now available.
There are several new features:

1. Automatic keyboard switching between types of items while keying the tree description is now available on both the Windows and macOS versions. On macOS, however, Keyman keyboards do not automatically switch. You have to key the material in some other application and copy it in.
2. Add ability to set the minimum horizontal space between sister nodes before adjusting vertical space for tight lines.
3. Add ability to adjust the vertical space between rows so lines appear better.
4. Add the ability to draw a vertical line when a node’s text is empty.
5. Add a new column-oriented algorithm. This may make some trees appear better, especially when a higher node is wider than lower nodes.
