Download the XMLmind XML Editor
XLingPaper depends on the XMLmind XML Editor so you must download and install the XMLmind XML Editor before you can use XLingPaper. It works with two versions of the XMLmind XML Editor: version 7.4+ (the latest version) and version 5.3. Given the definite advantages of version 7.4+, we only offer instructions on how to get version 7.4+.
XMLmind offers a very generous Personal Edition License for the XMLmind XML Editor which, if you qualify, means that you can use it for free. If you do not qualify for the Personal Edition License, then you will need to purchase a Professional Edition from XMLmind.
For those of you who are a member of SIL International and are going to use the XMLmind XML Editor program on your own computer, you do qualify to use the Personal Edition. If you are not a member of SIL International, you may well qualify, but be sure to read the XMLmind XML Editor Personal Edition License carefully.

If you do not qualify, please buy the Professional Edition version. As of March 5, 2018, XMLmind released a new version that is not (yet) compatible with XLingPaper. you will need to ask for version 7.6.0. After your purchase, XMLmind will tell you how to download and install the program.
If you qualify for the free Personal Edition of the XMLmind XML Editor, you can download the Personal Edition of the XMLmind XML Editor by going to the XMLmind XML Editor website.
