Statistical machine translations will be retired later this year
Updates:
- Translation suggestions based on the older statistical machine translation tool will be retired later this year. Projects that have this feature turned on will see a banner on the Edit & review page that directs you to contact help@scriptureforge.org for assistance switching to the newer draft generation feature for machine translation.
Improvements:
- A new experimental draft sources configuration page provides a simplified interface for managing draft settings.
- Remarks in the editor are now displayed in blue (like in Paratext) instead of black, making them easier to distinguish from regular text.
- The explanation and error messages have been clarified for the formatting required for uploading additional training data.
- The custom site name is now displayed in the browser tab for white label sites instead of “Scripture Forge.”
Bug Fixes:
- When importing Community Checking questions from Paratext, the import form now properly resets when users navigate back to note tag selection.
- Errors are no longer displayed when a user is removed from a project.
