A snap-to-grid option has been added to chart drawing. It is activated by default. When the User creates a new person or family on a Family Tree chart, their symbol “snaps” to the nearest empty square on an invisible grid. This keeps charts neater and well-spaced.

The size of the grid can be adjusted in “Edit Prefs.”
