1. If you are able to use the Personal Edition, see below. Otherwise, you will need to use version 7+ of the XMLmind XML Editor. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/
    1. If you are using OS X version 10.4 (Tiger) to 10.10 (Yosemite), click here.
    2. If you are using OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan), you will need to download and install Java version 6 by going to https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?locale=en_US. Then get the XMLmind XML Editor version that works with El Capitan by clicking here.
  2. Double-click the .dmg file after it downloads. This will open a Finder window showing the contents of the downloaded .dmg file.
  3. Drag the XMLEditor item (i.e. the program, not the folder) to /Applications.
