Connect user needs to product teams by gathering requirements, shaping the product backlog, and ensuring software improvements deliver real value to language development communities worldwide.
We are seeking full-time and volunteer professional Business Analysts. Acting as the key interface between the users and the Product Manager, they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users. Work with a global user community to understand how the software can be improved to meet the needs of people working in language development, Bible translation, and scripture engagement.
SIL Global is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to serving translation teams worldwide. If you believe, as we do, that all languages are of value, form an integral part of people's identity, and have the potential to serve them in a rapidly changing world, then you can be part of a software team serving translation teams worldwide.
A Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the Product Manager, development team, and user community in order to deliver valuable changes to software projects.
Business Analysts should have experience in business analysis and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle. A bachelor's or master's degree in business analysis or equivalent work experience is preferred, but we care more for a heart and mind that are always learning.
