How does this compare to the Scripture Map Labeler?

Paratext Diagram Labeler is the successor to Scripture Map Labeler. Here’s a comparison of the more significant features:

SML is integrated into Paratext 9 as a plug-in.	PDL is a standalone app that accesses Paratext 9 data.

You enter labels into an XX book as “verses” within a “chapter” designated for maps of a given topic. A Paratext resource named SMP1 shows you which labels to put in which verse.	You enter labels in either a graphical or table layout. Every map displays only the labels used on that specific map, not of those used on other maps in the topic group.
Ensuring consistency of use in the Scripture text requires parallel use of the Biblical Terms tool.	PDL integrates the functionality of the Biblical Terms tool.
