Understanding and managing your map labels
Label Status System
Each label in the Labeler is color-coded to indicate the kind of attention it may need.
Here are the different statuses and their meanings:
| Color | Status | Description |
| Gray | Blank | Provide the text to be used in this label. |
| Gray | Partial | Literal text in the template string still needs to be translated. |
| Cyan | Multiple Options | Multiple options have been provided for you to select from. Ensure that you don’t have any bad renderings, and then edit the label to remove unwanted options. |
| Blue | No renderings | There is a term that has no rendering patterns to match in the verse text. |
| Yellow | Unmatched label | The label above is not matched by the renderings below. |
| Purple | Multiple renderings | This pattern does not match the label. |
| Orange | Guessed | This label matches a guessed rendering which must be approved. |
| Green | Incomplete | There are verses where we would expect this rendering to be used, but it is not present there. Adjust the renderings to include more renderings, or mark those verses as denied. |
| White | OK | The term renderings will be able to supply this label to any other map in the project that needs it. |
