DiagSap is made by SIL Global. SIL is a faith-based nonprofit that serves language communities around the world. It helps them build their own capacity for lasting language development.

SIL does this work mainly through research, translation, training, and creating materials. It works side by side with local communities and their partners. The aim is to support every part of daily life — social, cultural, political, economic, and spiritual.
