We welcome other developers who wish to get involved in supporting and enhancing this software.
Transcelerator is licensed according to the terms of the MIT License. The source code is available in the Bitbucket project paratext/transcelerator. Further information on how to set up your development environment is included in the Bitbucket project documentation.
The best way to contribute your enhancements is to fork the Bitbucket project, then submit pull requests to the development team. It would be helpful, however, for you to first contact the team to find out whether your intended enhancement or fix is already being worked on by someone else. That would also give you an idea of whether that enhancement would be welcomed by the team.
Transcelerator is currently in semi-active development mode (one part-time developer). The current focus for version 1.3 is on internationalizing and localizing Transcelerator for translation teams that would be better served by having the UI and source material in a different language. Later this year, we also hope to tie Transcelerator into a workflow with Scripture Forge.
