FlexText Editor Suite is a web app suite that makes it easy to delegate recording, transcription, glossing, and free translation to mother tongue speakers and import their results into your FLEx database. It includes time alignment. It was developed from years of watching mother tongue translators struggle with technology and designed from the ground up to be intuitive, simple, and pain-free, focusing on enabling them to do what they do well by removing unnecessary tech skills (like file management, task switching, double-clicking, etc) from the equation. Also designed from the ground up to work in very remote locations with locally available devices (including Android phones and tablets) and with very poor or unreliable internet access. Very positive feedback so far from mother tongue translators as well as from advisers working with them.

FLExTools An application for running Python scripts against a FieldWorks database
FLEx-Scratchpad A notes app that allows you to organize and embed live, auto-refreshing items from FLEx (lexical entries, interlinear text data, text charts or snippets). And visual filters for tags, columns, text chart markers, as well as ways to just manually highlight and mark things up in the app. Basically it’s designed to be a FLEx version of Logos notes documents. So it’s easy to collect and organize examples, even could kind of become a rough draft/brainstorming area for a paper.
