Audio Project Manager 4.3.2 Release
The Audio Project Manager (APM) development team is pleased to offer the 4.3.2 release of the Audio Project Manager. This release primarily focuses on performance improvements.
Each time the program was launched, it could start slowing and this time has now been shortened. If a new user is brought onto a team or if memory in the browser is cleared and projects are reloaded, the program will now load these existing projects about 10 times faster. Similarly, teams create faster and project open faster the first time. (They have always loaded pretty fast subsequent times.) We also found that after uploading or downloading many audio files, the performance could suffer as these previous audio files were all being kept in memory. We have removed this problem.
We also addressed a problem where Scripture books were sometimes being sorted into the wrong place. (This was introduced in the 4.3.1 release on some existing Scripture projects.) Now when the Scripture book is opened, the sorting position is corrected. Also the program now prevents activating publishing when the book information has not been entered into a project. Activating publishing too early was causing sorting issues too.
Overall, you shouldn’t see any new buttons or views but hopefully everything will just perform better. You can certainly respond using the contact forms on the web or from the program if you have anything you would like us to notice.
Here is a detailed list of the changes since the last release:
