HermitCrab Synthesis, Settings via Menu, Export Unlinked Senses, FlexTools Interface Improvements

  • Support for HermitCrab synthesis – For target projects that use HermitCrab for their parsing system, FLExTrans will correctly synthesize target morphemes to produce words using the HermitCrab grammar constraints defined in the project.
  • Integration of the newest version of FlexTools (2.2.2) which allows for just two Run buttons and custom menus and status bars.
  • A new FLExTrans menu has been added.
  • The Settings module has been turned into a menu option on the new FLExTrans menu.
  • Live Rule Tester
    • Word checkbox selections in the Live Rule tester are retained when the Rebuild Bilingual lexicon button is pressed.
    • Rule checkbox selections are restored when the Live Rule Tester is started again.
    • Verse numbers are now shown.
    • Improved display of the Apertium log
    • Running Transfer in the Live Rule Tester is faster after the first run since the rules are not recompiled internally unless Refresh Rules is selected or rules are turned on or off.

  • When building the bilingual lexicon, if a replacement entry is not found in the bilingual lexicon a warning is issued.
  • Up to 4 words can be skipped for complex forms.
