Audio Project Manager 4.4.0 release
The Audio Project Manager (APM) development team is pleased to offer the 4.4.0 release of the Audio Project Manager. This release is a major technology upgrade around the building and packaging of the software.
What’s New
We’ve made several updates to improve your experience:
- Waveform Updates: We’ve changed how the waveform displays discussions. Instead of flags, we now show vertical lines with timestamps.
- Zooming: You can zoom in and out of the waveform using your mouse wheel.
- Discussion Pane: The discussion pane is now minimized by default. Click the discussion icon in the bottom right corner to open it. You’ll see the number of discussions on the icon.
- Microphone Settings: We’ve added a microphone setting icon that lets you choose which microphone to use for recording.
- Improved Player: We’ve updated the player in the internalization step and discussion comments to make it easier to use.
- Table Controls: You can now sort, filter, and hide columns in tables. Just click on the three-dot menu in the column header.
- Column Resizing: You can resize columns by dragging the boundary.
- Reference Warnings: If there are reference issues, you’ll see an orange banner. Clicking on it will take you to the first row with a problem.
- Uncompressed Recording: We’ve fixed the uncompressed recording feature to truly record in WAV format.
- Audio Normalization: Audio normalization now works correctly from the desktop program.
