The SIL Transcriber 2 development team is happy to announce the 0.8.2 release. It is a web app but also provides a Desktop Extension for those who need to be able to work offline without an Internet connection. This is primarily a bug fix release but also includes the ability to copy the transcription for a plan to the clipboard and the ability to create a zip backup file of offline work. The Plan sheet editing has been reworked to make it simple and more consistent and when there are many tasks on the todo task list, the one being worked on always scrolls into view.
